SUBMISSION PROCESS - STEP BY STEP

1. Submit your work (see Submission Guidelines below)


2. You should receive feedback within 1-2 weeks. This feedback will include comments and suggestions.


3. Once you review comments/suggestions, resubmit work through the same process for publication. You will also be asked to agree to terms and conditions. You (the writer) will retain rights to your work.


4. When you submit your work to the SpeakOut! 2.o website, you MUST fill out a Permission to Publish form so that we have your permission to use your work on this website.

GUIDELINES / INFORMATION
SpeakOut! 2.0 accepts stories, essays, memoir, poems and artwork from SpeakOut! writing workshop alumni.

• SpeakOut! 2.0 is now accepting submissions.


• Response time is 1-2 weeks. After 2 weeks, you are welcome to contact us by email about the status of your submission.


• Please limit each individual submission to one story, one essay, or five poems at a time.


• Word limit for prose pieces is 4000 words.

**Written files must be saved in Microsoft word (.doc or .docx), Rich Text Format (.rtf) or Text (.txt). Artwork must be scanned and submitted in JPG, BMP, GIF or PDF file.
